The test There are two parts to the test.
Part one - Theory This consists of 2 elements, a multiple choice segment and a hazard perception test. You can study for these whilst you are taking practical lessons but the sooner you start the better. You must pass this before you are able to take the practical exam.
Part two—Practical The test lasts for approximately 35-40 minutes and is designed to assess your practical ability to drive. Once you have passed you can apply for your full UK licence.
Once you have passed your test it is a great idea to further enhance your driving skills. The course is recommended by the Driving Standards Agency and will help you to become a more confident driver. It may also save you money on your car insurance!
